I told myself for about a year that I was going to look into Zumba, however, I was somewhat intimidated to put myself in an environment where I would embarrass myself. For the last 3 years, I worked hard to lose and keep off 32 pounds, but I began to see myself falling back into a sedentary roll. I work at a computer all day and would come home mentally exhausted, land on the couch and that was my exercise. No stress relief in sight, no movement. I was still eating well, but at 53, I was battling the pounds beginning to creep in again due to lack of exercise. Enough was enough. I worked too hard to get fit again. I just needed to find an exercise program I would enjoy and to help keep me young. ZUMBA! I GOOGLED Zumba, Sugar Land, found Zumba Fitness Class www.loumoore-fitness.com and without any more excuses sent her an email. She replied very quickly that same day giving me all of the information I needed to come and try a session for free. The only requirements were to wear comfortable clothes to workout in and bring water. I did just that on the next scheduled class, it was a Monday. Oh my goodness, I never worked harder and never had so much fun sweating my bootie off. I was hooked. I’ve been doing Zumba for 4 months now. I LOVE IT! I’m there 3 days/week. I not only enjoy Zumba, I enjoy the people in the class; not to mention the fun we ALL have with Cida. Her smile and energy are nothing shy of addictive.
