My wife and I participated in the HPARD water aerobics program this summer. We are both in our mid-60′s and this is the first year we have taken part in this wonderful program. We attended both the Westbury pool sessions and the Townwood pool sessions. For my part, during the 6 weeks that I attended both sessions combined, I lost 15 pounds and improved my A1c sugar levels. We want to commend you and your great staff at these two pools for doing such a wonderful job. We would like to especially applaud the commitment and expertise of Lewis Moore. He was a patient but tireless taskmaster and was able to keep the exercise sessions lighthearted, interesting and fruitful. In conclusion, I report that my wife and I are currently scratching around on the internet desperately trying to find a similarly well-managed exercise plan capable of delivering comparable results in order to replace the one we lost due to the season’s end of this marvelous program. We await the next season’s programs with great enthusiasm.
