Personal Training for Youth


The design and intensity of training programs for children and adolescents should not be the same as those of their adult counterparts. Training programs for youth must be consistent with their level of anatomic, physiological, and emotional maturity. Failure to comply with such programs puts the child at risk for injury and/or early dropout from sports participation.

Cida Moore trains youth in fitness programs and follows the proper training philosophy and methods for creating a positive athletic and fitness experience. She provides individualized training programs for youth ages 6 – 18 to develop an overall fitness base, maximize athletic development, and live a healthy lifestyle. Skills in coordination, flexibility, speed, endurance, strength, and healthy eating are emphasized.

Cida is also involved in youth fitness by teaching Zumbatomic Classes on Mondays 5:00 – 5:45 pm at Cida Fitness. Zumbatomic fuses dance, music and exercise together to create a fun, healthy program for children. It is based on the Zumba® Fitness concept, and is 100% kid friendly. The goal is to help kids develop a healthy lifestyle, to incorporate fitness as a natural part of children’s lives and not just a class they attend once a week. Zumbatomic considers the whole child and includes learning: leadership, respect, team work, pride, confidence, responsibility, coordination, balance, discipline, memory and creativity.
