Let’s Eat – Well Class

Letseatgreen

Despite the many nutrition experts and government recommendations to achieve optimal health and fitness, most Americans are confused on what to eat, what not to eat, and how to eat food in their daily lives.  Consequently, this has led people to have an emotional struggle with their relationship with food and body.

As a result, obsessive behavior has been on the rise with emotional eating, binge eating, overeating, body image, and undesirable food habits that significantly defeat our personal power, wellness, and stops us from achieving a higher quality of life.

You see, most diet strategies are based on pushing, forcing, over-exercising, under-eating, and hating the body into submission.  Many nutritionists focus on calories in versus energy burned and fitness professionals over emphasize on heart rate training and activities to burn the maximum amount of calories.  This is all good, but what’s missing is the emotional and spiritual relationship to our body, mind, and soul.

Adopting a holistic lifestyle approach and developing awareness to the food you eat can create a synergistic state of optimal health.  Controlling stress and implementing activities to slow your life down can create positive changes in your body to digest food efficiently, improve metabolism, enhance hormonal functioning, boost immunity, and enable your neuro/stress systems to work at peak levels.  The result is that you will feel more alive, energized, and abundant.  Couple this with quality food choices and you’ll be able to achieve your health, fitness, and quality of life goals.

Let’s Eat – Well class at Cida Fitness focuses on issues people may have over their relationship with food and how to adopt a holistic lifestyle.  It is not lecture based, but rather informal discussions for participants to share experiences and support each other.  Practical assignments and journaling for personal growth will be done each month.

Meets once per month on Wednesdays 2:30 – 3:30 pm.  Below are class dates for 2016:
